Masteel Achieves Nuclear Approval by Rolls-Royce

After stringent assessment, Masteel have achieved Nuclear approval with Rolls-Royce and are now officially an approved supplier.

The accreditation which was made on 21st April 2011, relates to the nuclear sector side of Rolls-Royce’s business which is handled by their civil engineering section. The approval recognises Masteel as a stockist of steel plate with source material suitable for supply in this particular field. The following statement has been made by the company:

“The process for selection involved many months of rigorous assessment where our quality system has been reviewed and audited for compliance. The inspector from Rolls-Royce has worked closely with our Quality Team to ensure that our quality system, whilst compliant, is being constantly reviewed and improved.

The scope of the approval will allow us to offer a diverse range of products for Rolls-Royce projects in this sector.

The award represents yet another landmark in our growth and reputation as a high quality steel supplier with some of the world’s largest material consumers.”
